Massage Therapy

With over 22 years of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist, Carolyn Huebner brings extensive knowledge and expertise to Priscilla Kerr Wellness. She graduated from the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba (now Evolve) in 2003 and holds a Bachelor of Theology from CMBC (now Canadian Mennonite University) as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Waterloo.

Throughout her career, Carolyn has worked in a variety of settings, including clinics, spas, and private practice, allowing her to develop a diverse skill set in both therapeutic and relaxation massage techniques. She is dedicated to providing personalized care, ensuring that each treatment meets the unique needs of her clients.

A strong advocate for integrative healthcare, Carolyn continuously expands her expertise in holistic modalities. In May 2025, she will begin offering Myofascial Cupping Treatments, further enhancing her ability to address pain, mobility issues, and overall wellness. She also has experience in Bioresonance Therapy and a deep interest in herbal supplementation, always seeking new ways to support her clients’ well-being.

Carolyn’s journey to joining Priscilla Kerr Wellness is deeply personal. Six years ago, she and her husband sought out Dr. Kerr’s fertility expertise after experiencing a miscarriage and struggling for years to grow their family. To their joy, within weeks of her first treatment with Dr. Kerr, Carolyn discovered she was pregnant with their youngest daughter. Dr. Kerr played a crucial role throughout her pregnancy, providing essential care and support—including helping to initiate labor when the time was right. This transformative experience left a lasting impact, and it was a key factor in Carolyn’s decision to become part of the Priscilla Kerr Wellness team.

Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Her evenings and weekends are filled with cheering on her kids at soccer, gymnastics, dance, volleyball, and basketball. She also loves taking her Rottweiler on daily walks and managing the excitement of a busy, vibrant household.

Carolyn is thrilled to be part of Priscilla Kerr Wellness and looks forward to helping clients on their journey to better health and well-being.

Dr. Priscilla Kerr is a Brazilian physician and licensed Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctor, specializing in acupuncture. After relocating to Canada, she pursued her passion for holistic health and wellness, blending her medical background with alternative therapies.

Dr. Kerr spent five years and over 5140 hours training as a TCM doctor and medical acupuncturist within the prestigious Orthopedics Department of the University of São Paulo, School of Medicine. As the highest-ranked university in South America according to The Times Higher Education (THE) in 2023, the University of São Paulo provided her with a solid foundation in both Western and Eastern medical practices.

In 2005, Dr. Kerr expanded her knowledge by training in Taiwan, where she studied under some of the best TCM professors from Taipei and Beijing. During this 5 years residency, she gained certifications in Pain Management and Fertility TCM, and she later applied these skills while working with several private and public fertility clinics in São Paulo, Brazil.

Her leadership in the field extends beyond her clinical work. Dr. Kerr served as the spokesperson and External Relations Board Director for the CMAAC and the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Manitoba (CMAAC) for 15 years. She played a pivotal role in advocating for TCM practitioners during the COVID-19 pandemic, successfully lobbying the Health Minister and government officials to have acupuncture recognized as an essential service. Her efforts allowed practitioners to reopen safely, providing guidance on health and safety protocols to all members in Manitoba since 2019.

For over a decade, Dr. Kerr has volunteered to represent and defend the rights of thousands of TCM practitioners across Canada, particularly in Manitoba. Her dream of having acupuncture officially recognized as a healthcare profession in Canada has been a driving force in her career.

In pursuit of this dream, Dr. Kerr founded Priscilla Kerr Wellness Ltd., a holistic wellness center that opened its doors on April 1, 2025. The wellness center offers a wide range of holistic care services, helping individuals achieve better health and balance in their lives.

Although Dr. Kerr is not licensed as a physician in Manitoba or Canada, she is a licensed TCM doctor and registered acupuncturist. For 16 years, she worked at Manitoba Clinic before transitioning for 2 years at the Acupuncture College of Manitoba until she had a chance to create her own space, a wellness center in the Whyte Ridge area of Waverly West District at 103 Scurfield Boulevard, Unit A, offering a welcoming environment for those seeking healing and holistic care.

Dr. Kerr is committed to empowering others to take control of their health and well-being, integrating the best of Western and Eastern medicine to offer comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Meet Collin – Registered Massage Therapist

Collin was personally discovered by Dr. Priscilla Kerr during her own recovery journey. After suffering a sports injury while at a resort in Cancun in December of last year, Dr. Kerr sought help from numerous professionals with little relief. It wasn’t until she found a last-minute appointment with Collin that she finally experienced meaningful progress. His treatment made such an impact that he became her go-to practitioner—and she promised that once her wellness center opened, she would bring him onto the team. That promise has now been fulfilled.

Collin is a Registered Massage Therapist who brings a wide range of skills and techniques to every session. He tailors each treatment to meet the individual needs and goals of his clients—whether it’s relaxation through Swedish massage, relief from chronic tension with deep tissue work, or advanced therapeutic approaches like:

Pre- and post-activity sports massage

Myofascial release

Trigger point therapy

Joint mobilization

PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) stretching

Postural alignment treatments

TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) therapy

With a background in construction and roofing, Collin understands the toll physical labor can take on the body. He credits massage therapy with enabling him to maintain a long and productive career, and that lived experience shapes his hands-on, structural approach to care.

Outside of the clinic, Collin is an avid runner who competes in half-marathon events. He also enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time at the cabin.
